In the past, many rumors have surfaced about the flexible displays from Samsung and even Nokia. However, since then, not much information out about these two specific products. Instead, Samsung throws another concept display in the rumor mill. But this time the Korean company has thrown in a video. After all, seeing is believing, right?
Right off the bat, the unit looks very futuristic. Additionally, the screen is transparent, flexible, and even a little 3D. Please note that the video is a concept video and this "device" is clearly nowhere near ready for market. However, with all the rumors and concepts that are coming out in recent months, it sounds like Samsung will debut its flexible displays by 2012. Moreover, with CES just around the corner, and companies like Sony, AUO, LG, HP, Toshiba, TDK, Apple and Nokia already working on flexible displays, next year would be very interesting in terms of new devices with new display technology on board.
